The Capital Campaign for St. Paul the Apostle Parish

Dear Parishioners and Friends;
Now is the time for new beginnings, a fresh start, so to speak. It is a time to reflect on the blessings of the past and to look to a bright and promising future. To achieve the latter goal, St. Paul’s is initiating a Capital Campaign in order to enable us to move toward a brighter future. To secure that future, we need to pay off past obligations and make necessary repairs and improvements to our physical plant. In order to accomplish these goals, our parish Finance Council and Pastoral Council have agreed that a Capital Campaign to raise the needed funds is the way to go. Financial stability and a safe and secure physical environment are essential ingredients to the health and longevity of St. Paul’s. Every household will be asked to prayerfully consider making a pledged gift payable over a period of two years. Included in this campaign for St. Paul’s will be opportunities to memorialize and or recognize gifts on the Memorial Tree or on a new giving plaque. Together we can build a secure future for St. Paul’s Parish. Your involvement will help to ensure our financial stability, and the safety and security of our facilities. I wish to thank you for your participation in this most important undertaking. May God bless you for your continuing support and your generosity to St. Paul’s. What is the goal of the Capital Campaign?
We have set a goal to raise $500,000 with the hope and prayer that every parish household will contribute a gift to help meet the following essential needs:
New Furnace for the Church $80,000
School and Rectory roof repair $70,000 Parking Lot repair and renewal $200,000 Payment of past obligations $150,000 $500,000 will enable the parish to fulfill our needs and have contingency funds on hand should we run into any surprises. Sample Pledge Amounts (***SEE NOTE BELOW)
